Her eyes.

They just do something to me.

Send a shock right through me.

Really...no joke. They are such an interesting color. A blue grey mixed with gold. A mix of her Daddy and her Mimi...maybe she gets some gold specks from my hazel eyes, but they are pretty much a perfect mix of her Daddy and my mom. Practically see-thru on some occasions. Beautiful and happy.

And I can't decide if I like this picture better in color or black and white, I do love this picture though!

These are my wee ones and this is my new favorite location for shoots. Big wee one came home with sun-kissed cheeks from a swimming party yesterday and she just looked so summery this morning, that in a matter of 5 minutes we were dressed in our cute Matilda Jane attire and out the door for a quick little photo shoot.

Gina contacted me through facebook and then during an event in downtown Chambersburg we randomly met on the street! We set up a session for her gorgeous daughter, and I took them to an old barn that a friend has been suggesting for a couple of months. Let me just say...YUMMY!! Amazing. Fun. Refreshing. Funny. Goofy. Beautiful.
I loved every minute that I got to spend with this fabulous family. I teared up while working on the images...I mean geesh, the mom helping her daughter tuck her hair into her cap of her uniform, which she wears while proudly serving in the Navy...tear jerker!
Don't forget to honor those that you know who serve our country!! Have a wonderfully relaxing weekend and be proud that you can do so :)

I love little tiny smiling babies...especially this sweet little girl. :) She hung out for a bit, but once she fell asleep, she was OUT!
I was very excited to get this shot of sleepy girl. What a doll. Just ask her mom, I was, "oohhhing and awwwing" the WHOLE morning!

When I first heard from this T-Man's mom, I could tell she was worried that our session wouldn't work out (so to speak), but I knew I could capture him. Yes, it took some time. Yes, I got some excercise, but look...in the end, he blew flowers at my camera and sat infront of a fence and smiled BIG for me!! Thank you so much for such a fun morning! Yes folks, I am one lucky lady. Can you get any sweeter than that face below? So pure and innocent!

I've been pretty busy here lately, the last two weeks have been CA-RAZY, but I'm back on track and playing catch up!
Mr. Parker loves trains! As in seriously loves his trains! He sang train songs to me and carried his little train friend with him everywhere! As a mom of girls, I don't know the names, so please don't hate me! Hehe!

And the Momma...beautiful!

The mom's always say, "I don't take good pictures, don't get any of me!", I beg to differ my Mom friends! We need pictures! There are hardly any pictures of us, you don't want your kids growing up never seeing a picture of you!

The morning flew by and Parker did awesome! He deserved his special surprise at the end of the session! Thanks for letting me capture some moments for you ;)

This sweet and sassy girl is the daugher of one of my BFF's and we had a blast taking pictures. She is so funny and basically did anything I asked her, from jumping and twirling to using her belly as a drum set! Happy Birthday sweetie!!

These girls are absolutely beautiful, full of spunk and personality and I had a BLAST spending an hour and a half with them. We laughed, giggled and commented on how my rear is like jello (thanks small one!!) hehe...thanks for being so fun and I can't wait to capture you gals again!!

She's 14 years old...think she has a career in modeling in her future?? She has some crazy, intense eyes...LOVE THEM!

Parasol Fun!
I found these parasols at Hobby Lobby and NEW I needed them! I've been waiting for a couple of months to "play" with them, and today was my lucky day! Warm weather, sun flares, semi-cooperating daughters and a little yellow umbrella made for some sweet pictures of my darling girls. If you don't have some of these, and want them, I picked them up in orange, pink and yellow, but they had a bunch of other colors! For CHEAP...we all love cheap!

Secrets between sisters!

I'm not crazy about the coloring on this picture at all, mainly because it looks cloudy and dingy, when really there was a beautiful blue sky...I'll have to tweek it some, but I do love her expression and the composition of the picture.

If you book in April or May (or anytime really), I'll more then likely bring a sweet umbrella :)

Crazy girl...she was one delightful and silly little girl and I loved every minute I got to spend with her. I think she liked me too! This was the first picture we took...started off on the right foot!

This is her little sister. A-stinking-dorable, right?!! It took her a little longer to warm up to me, but once she did...hook - line - and sinker! hehe ;-)The beautiful and lovely ladies! The momma even offered scones to me, and they were delicious! (I ate two of them.)She got bored and fell alseep!

My Little wee one doesn't enjoy the snow quite as much as her big sister.

Because let me tell you, she could stay outside all day long!Pretty snowy farm. Our area is getting dumped on with tremendous amounts of snow! Lots and lots of snow. A lot of snow. There is snow falling all around me. Did I mention there is a lot of snow falling? It has been snowing for 24 hours straight and there aren't any signs of it stopping for atleast a couple of hours.

Daughter

She's my model. She sits for me, not always so still, but usually I can get a good 15 pictures or so out of her before she wants to beat feet. Stunning and amazing, but I must confess that I'm partial because she's my Big wee one...my first born. My numba one stunna!

She's photogenic and stubborn. Pretty and pretty moody, but man do I love those big eyes and pouty lips. I love that she lets me practice techniques and poses on her. Someday she's going to break some man's heart with those soultry eyes and juicy lips...what can I say, she's got a thing for juicy little mermaid lipstick. :)

This is a very cool friend of mine who moved out of state and happened to be in over the New Year's holiday...though I didn't get to spend quality time with her, I was thrilled to see her for the short time and take a few pictures for her. She's beautiful isn't she...simply stunning.
Her eyes are crystal clear like ice...she's from Iceland...Ironic right ;-) hehe! I hope you like your little preview...your CD will be in the mail Monday :)

I have been super busy since I've decided to take on this new venture, this world of photography. This world of stepping into people's lives and capturing precious moments they want to cherish forever. I love it. I love every moment, and I feel like this is one thing I have been put here to do.

Mr. Guns & Mrs Guns are my wee one's drs...they keep going to the dr FUN! I love this family!! B is one of my greatest, funniest friends...we like to scrap together, have a glass of wine together, laugh together...BUT, then she moved 15 miles away and now I hardly ever get to see her *sniffle* That needs to change, in the meantime, check out these photos of her family.
